Jerome Van Leeuwen, Physiotherapy Assistant

Jerome van Leeuwen attended Western University where he completed three years of Kinesiology before moving back to The Netherlands to study physiotherapy. He completed his undergraduate degree at the Amsterdam University of Applied Science in The Netherlands where he graduated with a BSc (hons) in Physiotherapy.

After completing work experience in Australia, Canada, and The USA he went on to work at a private orthopedic practice in The Netherlands, specializing in spine related injuries and ergonomics. During this time, he also completed his Level 1 Medical Acupuncture course in Manchester and a variety of personal training and nutrition courses. He looks forward to further developing his skills in the years to come.

His background as a collegiate and national level athlete in rowing, prompted him to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of proper training and rehab to minimize injuries. Jerome sees the body as an intricately interconnected system, and aims to integrate his knowledge in order to help his clients move and feel better.

In his spare time, Jerome loves to stay active and, on most days, can be found either in the gym or running outside. When he can, he is also an avid traveller and is always looking forward to his next worldly adventure.
